• International Community School (Oakland) - The International Community School is one of the new small schools in Oakland Unified School District. The school opened on September 25th of this year in the predominantly Latino community of the Fruitvale district in Oakland, California. Serving approximately 300 students, the International Community School provides a K-5th bilingual maintenance program as well as a sheltered English program. The staff is committed to providing an academically challenging and culturally responsive learning environment to its students.
