ECO Research and Evaluation Partnerships

Below are larger collaborative activities in which ECO actively participates in the areas of research and evaluation.

Cal*West Gear Up Project

Interactive University (IU) - ECO is a major partner in The Interactive University Project lending expertise and support in research and evaluation of technology based outreach activities. ECO leads the research/evaluation component for the Interactive University.

West Contra Costa Math Collaborative (WCCMC) - ECO partners with the WCCMC (ACCESS/LHS, MEP/LHS, Professional Development Program (PDP), Break the Cycle, Mathematics Engineering Science Achievement (MESA) Program) by providing unit credit for undergraduate mathematics tutors working in West Contra Costa Unified schools.

Sun-Earth Connection Forum - ECO is a partner of the NASA funded Sun Earth Forum lead by the Space Sciences Laboratory at UC Berkeley. As part of this partnership, ECO lends its expertise in evaluation as well as conducting a focused research project on teachers' experience in trying to effectively integrate astronomy research and data into K-12 curriculum.
