The Teacher Model GroupThe goal of this project is to provide a detailed model of how and why teachers do what they do "on line" as they are engaged in the process of teaching. The model of teaching, which includes as major components the goals, beliefs, and knowledge of the teacher, is developed by extensive study of videotapes of classrooms, with substantiating evidence drawn from interviews and writings by the teacher.
The principal investigator is Alan Schoenfeld.
