The Electronic Mentoring and Academic Guidance Network (EMAGN)

The goals of this project are to examine methods that: 1) facilitate the integration of communication technology into the school curriculum in ways that enhance learning, 2) provide direct academic and advising support for disadvantaged high school students, and 3) identify effective components of an electronic mentoring program for students, teachers, and counselors. The project is a collaborative effort between the Graduate School of Education, the Haas School of Business, and Counseling and Psychological Services at Berkeley.

Lisa Kala is the principal investigator.
