CERC is committed to linking students and families from disadvantaged communities to opportunities at the University of California. The project aims to assist students at all levels to become eligible and competitive to enroll at UC campuses. CERC focuses its outreach efforts in the Mission district of San Francisco. The project also seeks to expand UC Berkeley’s partnerships in the key areas of math and science, community health, and parental/community participation. It also strives to promote school reform research and teacher professional development.The principal investigator is Eugene Garcia.Rosa Franco LeClerc is the director.
