My experience in my fieldwork has opened my eyes to the inequalities and problems in urban education and has led me to have a sincere interest in the subject. Furthermore, my experiences have strengthened my resolve to become a high school teacher. (2007 Graduate)

The Minor influenced and affirmed my decision to pursue a career in education. As a result I am applying to grad school. (2007 Graduate)

Professionally, I feel that the Ed Minor has been invaluable, helping me to define what it is that I want to do with my life. It also helped me relate to the experiences and skill levels of the students that I tutor. Personally, I feel that the courses I have taken through the Ed Minor have answered many questions that I had about why certain social structures are the way they are. (2007 Graduate)

I had an absolutely fantastic time in my educational courses and since finishing the minor I am sad that I have not been able to fit any educational courses in my schedule for personal interest. I recommend it to fellow peers as a way of really experiencing their own education. (2007 Graduate)

As a result of the program, I gained an interest in wanting to teach, and eventually, get a masters along with a teaching credential in CA to teach high school chemistry. Without it, I would not have this goal in mind. (2007 Graduate)

This was one of the most important experiences of my life and will forever change my perspective. (2007 Graduate)
