How to Use These Pages
1)  The following lists have been complied from information in the the APA Guide to Graduate Study in Psychology, NASP, and various other web resources and people over the years. Every attempt has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information. However, there have been some inconsistencies with the degree designations listed and the actual degrees available at the institution.  Please obtain information from the school directory and the accreditation bodies to get the most accurate information.

2)  I have tried to link to the actual school psyc program because I know what a pain it can be to actually FIND the school psyc information.  Here are some tips if you have to search.  It is hard to predict where the school psych program will be.  Sometimes it is housed in a school of education, other times it is in the psychology department.  Sometimes it is called educational psychology and buried within there.  You may have to dig at the smaller schools.

3)  School psychology is not the same as school counseling although both often require some sort of credential to work in the schools.  Just getting an MA or MS in school psychology is often not enough to practice in the schools as you also need the state credential.  That is why some programs list EdS or +credential.  Remember not to simply rely on the degree listed on this site as it was often hard to get that specific information on all the schools and programs to change over the years.  Schools also drop and add programs without notice.
