How
to Use These Pages 2) I have tried to link to the actual school psyc program because I know what a pain it can be to actually FIND the school psyc information. Here are some tips if you have to search. It is hard to predict where the school psych program will be. Sometimes it is housed in a school of education, other times it is in the psychology department. Sometimes it is called educational psychology and buried within there. You may have to dig at the smaller schools. 3) School psychology is not the same as school counseling although both often require some sort of credential to work in the schools. Just getting an MA or MS in school psychology is often not enough to practice in the schools as you also need the state credential. That is why some programs list EdS or +credential. Remember not to simply rely on the degree listed on this site as it was often hard to get that specific information on all the schools and programs to change over the years. Schools also drop and add programs without notice.
American Psychological Association accredited programs in School Psychology or in Combined Professional-Scientific Psychology. National Association of School Psychologists accrediation. ** Compliance with APA or NASP accreditations and degrees listed should be verified directly with the program and the accrediting body.** If you see any incorrect links or any corrections, updates, or additions please send them along jenn8[at]berkeley[dot]edu OTHER
