Fred Brill
Superintendent, Lafayette School District
Fred previously served as the executive officer (area superintendent) of the Middle School Network in Oakland Unified School District, and he has also served as a middle school principal, a high school and continuation high school English teacher, and taught secondary students and adults in the former Czechoslovakia while on a Fulbright Teacher Exchange. After earning a B.A. in education from the University of Michigan, Fred went on to receive a master's degree in secondary education from San Francisco State University and a doctorate in education with a focus on leadership development from the University of California, Berkeley.

Dora Dome
Attorney, Dora J. Dome Law Offices
Dora has practiced law for 15 years, primarily in the areas of student issues and special education. She currently provides legal representation to school districts on student issues, but has expanded her practice to focus on developing and conducting professional development trainings for district staff that focus on Bullying, Equity and Legal Compliance, in an effort to proactively build staff capacity to address the needs of their students.

Lanette Jimerson
Lecturer, UC Berkeley Graduate School of Education
Lanette's research interests include writing instruction; teacher development; spatial theory; multimodal texts and assessment. In 2010 she received the Berkeley campus's Outstanding Graduate Student Instructor Award. She served as the co-director of the Bay Area Writing Project. She received her Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley in 2011.

Jason Willis
Chief Financial Officer, Stockton Unified School District
Jason previously served as budget director for Oakland Unified School District in California, and as assistant product manager for Standard & Poor’s School Evaluation Services, where he lead efforts to develop analyses and tools to help school district leaders make better-informed decisions about resource allocation. Prior to his work with Standard & Poor’s, Willis worked with the U.S. Department of Education and the Corporation for National Service researching the impact of service-learning on student achievement in K-12 and higher education.
