This seminar explores advanced topics in Piaget's and Vygotsky's
frameworks for the analysis of cognition and development. Of particular
concern is the representation of “culture” in each treatment.
Readings will include primary sources from these authors, their critics,
and contemporary researchers who build on these frameworks.
Prerequisite: Participants should have completed ED200A or equivalent
(readings on or by Piaget and Vygotsky) |
