isa Kala serves as director of the Excellence through Collaborative Opportunities (ECO) Center, the School of Education's administrative arm for school-university partnerships. She also oversees Undergraduate Field Studies in Education and the school's participation in Summer Sessions. Kala directs the Educational Technology Services Center and serves as principal coordinator for campuswide collaboration and partnership activities involving the Graduate School of Education. She also oversees the Evaluation Unit and the school's Office of Communications. As director of special projects, she serves as adviser to the dean for new initiatives. Her research interests are in minority achievement, minority counseling, and technology and education.
