Developing Tomorrow's Thinkers: Comprehension and Beyond
Final Payment for Conference Registration
Thank you for registering for the 2nd Annual University of California, Summer Institute in Reading. Everyone here is excited to meet you and to share ideas on how we can best help our Nation's students in reading.
As we are in the first few days of May, we'd like to remind you of the June 1st deadline for payment of the remaining registration fees. At this point we ask that you complete your registration by sending in the entire balance due.
If you encounter problems while making your final payment, or have questions please contact me at alice@textproject.org as soon as possible so that we have plenty of time to resolve any issue. Please remember all credit card transactions, personal checks and checks from PO's must be received and cleared by 6/1/06. I recommend starting the process for a PO as soon as possible, as the entire process may take some time.
There are 3 ways you can pay the remaining balance:
- By Credit Card: please go to http://gse.berkeley.edu/outreach/ucsir/reg_completepay.html . (If you selected PO or check for your $200 deposit, but did not send in your PO or check, and now wish to pay for the entire amount by credit card, please contact me first.)
- By Check: please make the check out to UC Regents and send the check to Maria Velasco to the address below. If you have a copy of your registration form or this letter, please attach it with the check.
- By PO: Please send Maria or me a PO number, and the name and contact information for your billings contact person. Once I receive the PO I will send an invoice to your billings contact person for your entire balance due. The check needs to be made out to UC Regents (UCB federal tax-id number: 94-6002123.)

* By the way, another participant wanted us to pass on a tip. She was able to get a flight from Boston to Oakland for under $300 with Jet Blue!
