Developing Tomorrow's Thinkers: Comprehension and Beyond


Curriculum

The Summer Institute combines lectures, small group discussions and other informal settings to give the participants a comprehensive experience and understanding in the latest research in comprehension.

The curriculum covered in this year's Summer Institute includes supporting high standards of comprehension with:

Speakers for UCSIR 2006 come from 8 nationally prestigious universities. Together they are among the nation's foremost scholars on comprehension and learning from text.
