UC Berkeley Graduate School of Education has arranged for accommodations on-site at the Clark Kerr Campus for those who are traveling and require accommodations.
Clark Kerr Campus is a Spanish mission style complex located approximately six blocks southeast of the main UC Berkeley campus. The original buildings at the Clark Kerr Campus were built in 1869. However, the Spanish-style buildings were built during the 1920's-40's, after the Earthquake of 1906 rocked the campus. It has since been renovated for conference and student residence use.
Accommodations
Arrival is on Sunday, July 23 and departure on Friday, July 28th. Non-commuter packages include three meals a day beginning on Monday, July 24th through Thursday, July 27th, and two meals (breakfast and lunch) for Friday, July 28th. All packages include a Welcome reception on Sunday, July 23rd, a wine reception on Monday, July 24th, as well as a dinner on a bay cruise Thursday, July 27th.Participants may select either double-occupancy suite or single-occupancy suite accommodations. Suites are 2 bedrooms with a shared living room and bathroom. There could be as few as 2 participants or as many as 4 participants in one suite, with either one participant or 2 participants per bedroom. High-speed Internet access is available in both bedrooms. For participants living in the Bay Area, a commuter option that includes breakfast and lunch is also available.
